Course Description
Pilots requiring recurrent training or proficiency checks can benefit from our simulator-based programs. Keep your skills sharp, refresh your knowledge, and practice emergency procedures in a safe and controlled environment. Our instructors will work with you to tailor the training to meet your specific regulatory and proficiency requirements.
Course Objectives
Review and Refresh Knowledge: Reinforce pilots' understanding of aviation regulations, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and safety. Cover topics such as airspace regulations, emergency procedures, weather interpretation, and navigation techniques.
Update Regulatory Knowledge: Stay up to date with any regulatory changes or updates that may affect flight operations. Ensure pilots are familiar with the latest rules, regulations, and procedures relevant to their certifications and ratings.
Enhance Aircraft Systems Knowledge: Deepen pilots' understanding of the aircraft systems, including advanced avionics, autopilot features, and specific aircraft limitations. Cover updates or changes to the aircraft's systems or procedures since their last training.
Practice Emergency Procedures: Simulate and practice various emergency scenarios to ensure pilots can respond effectively and appropriately. This includes engine failures, system malfunctions, in-flight emergencies, and abnormal procedures.
Refine Flight Maneuvers and Techniques: Fine-tune piloting skills by practicing flight maneuvers, such as takeoffs, landings, steep turns, stalls, and instrument approaches. Focus on precision, smoothness, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Evaluate Decision-Making and Crew Resource Management: Assess pilots' ability to make sound decisions in challenging situations and effectively utilize crew resources. Emphasize effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills during simulated flight scenarios.
Simulate Realistic Scenarios: Provide pilots with realistic scenarios that replicate challenging flight conditions, such as adverse weather, high-density airspace, or system failures. Enable pilots to develop strategies for managing these scenarios and make appropriate decisions.
Assess Instrument Proficiency: Evaluate pilots' proficiency in flying solely by reference to instruments (IFR). Assess their ability to navigate, maintain altitude and heading control, and perform instrument approaches accurately.
Perform Proficiency Checks: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to ensure pilots meet the required standards for their certifications, ratings, and endorsements. Administer practical flight tests that cover both normal and abnormal procedures.
Provide Feedback and Improvement Recommendations: Offer constructive feedback to pilots, highlighting areas of strength and areas that require improvement. Provide recommendations for ongoing training and self-study to help pilots continuously enhance their skills.
